Who we are
Booked Up is run by James Dalton, Auckland, New Zealand. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
If you join our launch list, we collect what you send: your email address and, if you give them, your business name, trade and suburb. We keep the list in our own systems and use your email only to tell you about Booked Up, and only if you've ticked the box to say yes. Every email lets you unsubscribe. To prepare your score we look at your public Google Business Profile and those of nearby competitors. We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share your details.
Clients
If we work together, you give us access to your Google profile and, where needed, your booking system. We use that access only to deliver the work you've asked for. For a Rebook Run we only message your existing customers, from your business name, with an unsubscribe option, as required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
How we use it
Only to send what you asked for, follow up about it, and, if we work together, provide the service. We keep requests for as long as they're useful for that, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Reply to any email from us to make a request. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
